Dark Themed Art Gallery

The aGeekonaBike website is a design concept experiment created to explore two goals. The first goal was to present the artist’s photography and unique digital art in professional and out of the box fashion.

The second exploration, was the expansion  of a simple art gallery service that I had created in 2019 for an artist in Ohio using Custom Post Types (CTP/UI), Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and the free version of the Elementor page builder.

The web design concept was based on creating a custom Dark theme opposed to the common white or Light themes. The color palate was selected from predominant colors in the provided photographs and art. The artist specifically stated that they did not want the website to be “Black”.

The design concept also breaks away from conventional grid/card layout implemented in the Elementor widgets.
